Wow, what a big surprise in finding that this 9 hole (3,367yd / Par 35 or 36) course was designed by Arthur Hills and I've been driving by it for the last 30 years. The conditions on this rolling layout was "Off the Hook" from the tee boxes to the large, fast, non-typical greens that were tough to hit correctly. Starting out on #1 with the #1 hcp / 547yd / Par 5 / double dogleg is a quick way to get introduced to a Arthur Hills course. The tree line fairways made you think twice about using the driver and hitting the yardage to the more open landing areas. I shot 40 / 14putts as landing short was the better choice to chip/run to the low side of the pin placements. This is a must stop if driving down US 12 in Jonesville, MI and don't let the little Mill Race sign fool you.
